This is a "soup to nuts" intro course to overlanding for experienced and non-experienced folks alike.

Description:

We will start with an intro to map and compass navigation (including a short skills course), then we'll move into winching and high lift jack demonstrations with some unique tips n' tricks. We'll finish the weekend with a challenging drive with some amazing views. All of this while camping and enjoying one of our two beautiful training locations (North Coast or Sierra Mountains).

 

Included:

Professional 4x4 guidance and training, sleeping accommodations, breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks and dinner. Accommodations include safari style roof top tents with 2.5 inch firm foam mattress, camp chairs and all dining utensils.

For more than 4 couples or for those afraid of heights we have large ground tents with cots or pads and plenty of room to stand in.

 

Options:

  1. Drive your own 4x4 vehicle (8 inches of minimum ground clearance, low range transfer-case and minimum 31 inch "All Terrain" or "Mud Terrain" tires required).

  2. Rental 4x4 vehicle available, ask us about this option.

 

You Provide:

Sleeping bag (15 - 30 degree rating), pillow, toiletries, camp clothes, a warm jacket for the evening, sturdy shoes for hiking, a headlamp and a thirst for knowledge!
