Description:

We'll meet you at a starting point near the CA/NV border and then spend 3 days and 2 nights exploring the history and scenery of this truly Wild West part of America. We'll see, first hand, some of the reasons which make this place so interesting in it's geology, botanical variety, and as part of the history of the American West.

 

All-Inclusive Option:

Professional 4x4 guidance and training, chef prepared breakfast, lunch, appetizers and dinner. Accommodations include high quality Shiftpod ground tents with comfortable sleeping pads, camp chairs, and all dining utensils.

Guide Only Option:

Professional 4x4 guidance, training, and safety while negotiating the back roads and trails of the Mojave NP. You provide your own tent, camping gear, and meals. In addition, I'll provide strong morning coffee (french press) and a warm fire to gather around each evening.

Vehicle options:

1. Drive your own 4x4 vehicle with 8 inches of minimum ground clearance from the lowest point under the vehicle, a low range transfer-case, and a minimum of 31 inch "All Terrain" or "Mud Terrain" tires are required.

2. Rent a 4x4 or AWD vehicle (I have discount codes for you).

3. For All-Wheel-Drive Tours/Training - vehicles must have at least 8 inches of ground clearance, good quality mud/snow rated tires with plenty of tread, and a FULL size spare and the tools to change it. If you get a flat, the little donut style tires are not a safe backup for overland adventures.

For this adventure you must also bring along:

Sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, camp clothes, a warm jacket for the evenings, sturdy shoes for hiking, a headlamp, and a good community attitude.
