This is my go-to GMRS radio. All the controls and the speaker are built right into the microphone itself. That means you can hide the base unit out of sight, keeping your cab uncluttered without sacrificing power or range.

The Deadman anchor was something a ran across many years ago and that is such an improvement over the other more traditional land anchors because of its versatility, lightweight/high-strength, and small size when packed.

GoTreads are multi-functional and fold down to fit behind my seat, so they are with me in all of my vehicles. They work very well to level my truck, and  adjust to allow me to "dial in" the height I need, as well as working as a traction board too

Using a raised air intake (snorkel)? I recommend switching to this pre-filter instead of the included air ram. It will do much better on dusty trails, in heavy rain or snow, or on tight trails with low-hanging trees.

I run CBI Offroad products on all of my rigs. They manufacture heavy-duty, steel and aluminum armor like bumpers, rock sliders, and skid plates for many vehicles. I can't say enough good things about CBI and the team. 

This is the latest version of the Fujinon Techno-Stabi 14x40 stabilized binoculars that I use and love! I use them both for terrestrial (land and sea) and extra-terrestrial viewing aka the Moon on our dark sky tours!

Factor 55 is top notch! I use their gear for a variety of recovery situations. This is a great "starter" kit for folks with a winch or to be prepared in case someone else comes along that has a winch but not enough of the right gear.

Trail repairs are common in the backcountry. Having a spot for all of your tools and a way to transport them is critical. I use two of these organizers joined together to hold sockets, wrenches, electrical supplies, pliers, and screwdrivers.

Traction boards are a staple for off-road recovery, but not all of them hold up to real abuse. These TRED PRO traction boards are built tough—the nubs don't instantly melt or wear off when you end up spinning your tires on them.

This is the easiest way I've found to deflate all four tires at once. Simply set the dial for the target air pressure and screw the deflator to your valve stem. The deflator stops automatically when it hits the desired air pressure.
