Description:

Spend 2 days/1 night taking in the beautiful views of the area and learning best practices for overlanding and vehicle recovery. This is primarily an overland training weekend with a bonus of amazing views from the "classroom". We'll cover everything from the basics of 4x4 vehicles and how they work, to learning how to safely use high-lift jacks and winches for vehicle recovery.

Expectations:

Professional 4x4 guidance, overland training, and safety, while negotiating the back roads of central Washington.

You provide your own tent, camping gear, and lunches, and we'll provide dinner and a fire Saturday night, then breakfast and coffee on Sunday morning.

 

Vehicle options:

1. Drive your own 4x4 vehicle with 8 inches of minimum ground clearance from the lowest point under the vehicle, a low-range transfer-case and a minimum of 31 inch "All Terrain" or "Mud Terrain" tires are required.

2. Rent your own 4x4 vehicle.

 

For this adventure, you must also bring along:

Sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, camp clothes, a warm jacket for the evenings, sturdy shoes for hiking, a headlamp, and a good community attitude. A gear list will be sent once you sign up.
