Grand Canyon/Grand Parashant NM Adventure
An exploration of the grandest of canyons and its hidden treasures on the North Rim. This is not like the South Rim with it's tour busses and crowds, this adventure takes you way off of the "beaten path". We'll be camping "cliffside" where you can hike down to the great Colorado River, and in the evenings view the vast amount of stars in this Dark Sky place. This is a great wild west experience while getting some overlanding skills as a bonus.
Adventure Description:
We'll meet you in Flagstaff, AZ or St. George, UT (depending on the trip) and caravan out through some beautiful and breathtaking landscapes to cliffside camps with amazing views. One of our camps has the option for a hike down to the great Colorado River. Along the way we'll be talking about and demonstrating best overlanding practices.

Standard Guided Tour:
Professional 4x4 guidance, training, and safety backup. You provide your own tent, camping gear, and meals. In addition, we'll provide strong morning coffee (french press) and a warm fire to gather around each evening.

All-Inclusive Option:
Professional 4x4 guidance and training, chef prepared breakfast, lunch, appetizers and dinner. Accommodations include high quality Shiftpod ground tents with comfortable sleeping pads, camp chairs, and all dining utensils.

Vehicle Options:
1. Drive your own 4x4 vehicle with 9 inches of minimum ground clearance from the lowest point under the vehicle, a low range transfer case, and a minimum of 31 inch "All Terrain" or "Mud Terrain" tires are required.

2. Rent a 4x4 vehicle (I have discount codes for you).
For this adventure you must also bring along:
Sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, camp clothes, a warm jacket for the evenings, sturdy shoes for hiking, a headlamp, and a good community attitude.
