1 Day Overland Training Trail Drive

Service Description

This is an overland training and trail drive geared towards the beginner but will cover a variety of topics so that even a well seasoned overlander may learn a few new tricks. We will cover the basics of how a 4x4 works and what some of those levers and buttons do. We will also cover trip planning, navigation, trail spotting, and how to negotiate some of the more common obstacles you may encounter. I will also be giving a demonstration on winching and other vehicle recovery techniques. We will finish the day with a stop at a saloon in the historic gold mining town of Virginia City, where I can answer any last questions you may have and share our stories of the day.
